How Can severe Groin Pain Be Treated?

I fell onto the cement 3 days ago and injured my elbow, hand, and groin area. The xrays and ct scans showed nothing wrong but I am in severe pain in my left groin even when I move my leg and I need help to get up or lay down. What could cause this and should I go back to the ER?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sounds to be acute ligament injury with possible tear during the fall.

As the intensity of pain is immense, it is mandatory to present at ER, get an analgesic injection and get done an MRI for the groin region.

Primary relief at home with ice application and analgesic tablet such as Tramadol Hydrochloride or else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
